the mercure had a great location, super close to transport options when our car rental fell through. the staff were lovely, making our last-minute stay feel welcoming. the room was very clean and modern, which I really appreciated. it was perfect for us being in the city for the hyde park festival. thanks for looking after us!
the standard twin room is on the small side.

I stayed for three nights and found the room quiet and comfortable. The shower was a highlight for me. After a long trip, it was nice to have a good place for breakfast nearby, even if it got busy. The staff were friendly and attentive. As a British archaeologist on a brief return, I appreciated the ease of access to local attractions.
The bathroom was cold and remained chilly despite staff checking the issue. At breakfast, peak times slowed down service significantly.

I had a great time at the Mercure. The location near Paddington Station made everything easy. The room felt cozy, and the bed provided a wonderful night’s sleep. The shower was a highlight. excellent water pressure. I experienced delays during check-in. The room wasn’t ready even though it was past check-in time, which was frustrating. The staff tried to be accommodating but it didn’t help much in that moment. Breakfast options could use more variety. it felt limited. The friendly staff made up for some inconveniences, as they were always eager to assist. Definitely a place I would return to despite a few hiccups.
